Ready to make a change?
If you’re reading this, psychologists would say you’re in the “determination stage.” This means you’re becoming ready to make a significant change.
Finally, it’s time for you to be the focus so that you can be your best self for those around you.
Together, we’ll bring attention to the biological, social, and psychological aspects of your current state, to improve your overall evolution as a human.
This means integration and balancing life’s pendulum with you as the pivot point.
The more whole you allow yourself to become, the better you’ll be for those who rely on you. But, most importantly, the more whole you become, the more you can enjoy being around yourself and others.
Wherever you are in life…
Most of my adult clients are small business owners. For some reason these folks like me!
But I’ve also worked with stay-at-home moms, professionals high up the corporate ladder, athletes, artists, doctors, lawyers, retired grandparents, and just off-the-street homeless. Because of the authenticity in my work, I’ve been fortunate in working with a wide range of people.
“I have a job. I can’t come in 3-5 days a week, 3 hours at a time.”
Though this model is a much better business model to gain money for a program, it’s not what we do at Recovery Hill. You’ll see me two times a week, max; for a total of an hour and a half, max. You have to make a living, and I understand that.
“That AA stuff doesn’t work for me. I’ve tried it. I need something different.” Clients have made this statement to me countless times.
Though, without shame, I admit I am a 12-Stepper; I have seen client’s attain sobriety by a number of means. We will access what the “means” are for you.
All it takes is your willingness, and we can find the right approach for you.
“I don’t want to stop completely. I want to learn how to keep some fun things in my life. I just don’t want to go overboard when I use.” I have also heard some form of this statement countless times. The beauty of Recovery Hill is that, again, as long as you are willing and authentic, we will find what works for you.
I will meet you where you are philosophically; but trust me, I will challenge inconsistencies in your thought patterns.
Need documentation?
If you have legal concerns and need the courts to know you received treatment – I can offer that.
But don’t expect to just pay me off for my signature. You will be required to do some actual counseling work. If you’re forced into treatment because of some legal issue, you might as well take advantage of the chance to learn a thing or two about yourself.
You will not find judgment here. I make no assumptions about your character just because you encountered some legal trouble.
You’re in the right place.
